+content: Das Etherpaper-System ist Teil einer Reihe, die sich mit dem Thema imaginäre Kommunikationsstrukturen aus obsoleten Geräten befasst. Es nutzt ausrangierte Schreibmaschinen wieder und verbindet sie zu einem gemeinsamen Netzwerk. Es handelt sich um ein verteiltes Schreibsystem/eine Textverarbeitunganwednung. Wenn etwas auf einer Schreibmaschine getippt wird, wird es sofort auf allen anderen Schreibmaschinen im Netzwerk getippt. Es kann kostenlos und von mehreren Benutzern gleichzeitig genutzt werden. Der Text wird auf eine lange Papierrolle getippt. Der Schreibprozess im Etherpaper-System wird nicht als Antwort verstanden. Die Nutzer entwickelten ein anderes Verständnis von Schreiben, da die Texte einer Person in die Texte einer anderen Person eingeflochten werden.

+content: The Etherpaper System is part of a series investigating the domain of imaginary communication structures with obsolete devices. It repurposes discarded typewriters and wires them up in a network as a shared. It's a distributed writing system/word processor. If there is something typed on one typewriter then it gets immediately typed on all other typewriters in the network. It can be used for free or charge and by several users at the same time. The text is typed on a long roll of paper. The writing process in the Etherpaper system is not understood as a response. Users developed a different understanding of writing in that someone's writings are woven into someone else's writing.

+content: "The Printar" ist Musikinstrument und/oder Schreibgerät. Es kombiniert ein altes Midi-Keyboard mit einem genauso alten Dot-Matrix-Drucker. Wird eine Taste gedruckt, wird der verbundene Buchstabe auf dem Drucker gedruckt. Dot-Matrix-Drucker erzeugen je nach Buchstaben einen unterschiedlichen Klang. Daher kann das Gerät zum Schreiben mit Text auf Paper sowie als auch zur Klangerzeugung verwendet werden. Ziel ist, eine Schnittstelle von Poesie, Instrument und Performance zu schaffen.

+content: "The Printar" is a musical instrument and/or writing device. It combines an old MIDI keyboard with an equally old dot matrix printer. When a key is pressed, the corresponding letter is printed on the printer. Dot matrix printers produce different sounds depending on the letter. Therefore, the device can be used for writing text on paper as well as for sound generation. The aim is to create an interface between poetry, instrument and performance.

+content: Der Temperaturuhr-Apparat (Arbeitstitel) ist ein Zeitanzeiger, der Wasser und seine eigene Abwärme nutzt, um die aktuelle Zeit anzuzeigen. Dieses Gerät besteht aus einer Computer-Hauptplatine, einer zusätzlichen Kupferplatte zur Kühlung des Prozessors und einer X-Y-Zeicheneinheit. Mit dem X-Y-Mechanismus schreibt das Gerät die Uhrzeit mit Wasser auf die Kupferplatte. Durch die Abwärme des Prozessors verdampft das Wasser auf der Kupferplatte und das Gerät zeichnet die Uhrzeit neu.

+content: Temperature clock apparatus (working title) is a time indicator that uses water and its own waste heat to show the current time. This device consists of a computer mainboard, an additional copper plate for cooling the processor and an X-Y drawing unit. With the X-Y mechanism, the device writes the time on the copper plate with water. The waste heat from the processor evaporates the water on the copper plate and the machine redraws the time.
